Luckily, I ran across some of Laurie's work at a friends home. She had taken some gorgeous shots of her and her husband while she was expecting. I had known Laurie for years, since her sister was a friend of mine, but had no idea she was a part time photographer. When I got in touch with Laurie, it did not take me long to figure out she was a perfect fit for us. What was included in her packages was no comparison, price wise, to anywhere else we had shopped. She and I corresponded for months prior to the wedding about exactly what we wanted, and even some things we did not want. I felt completely comfortable, which is very important for a bride to be!

October 16^th, 2004 finally arrived. Our ceremony took place at one of the oldest mansions in Valdosta, I was so excited for Laurie to see it. Honestly, I had no complaints. She was very prompt and full of ideas. She was also open to myself or my bridal party giving ideas of inspiration for good shots.

I received my proofs about 3 weeks after our wedding. I was nervous, but after I began looking through the proof book she provided, and my worries went out the window. I could not have been more pleased. Between myself, my mom and my mother in law, it took us hours to decided on the photos we wanted for packages. After ordering, Laurie was again prompt in getting our order processed and delivered to us. And did I mention how reasonably priced everything was?

Since my wedding,  I have suggested Laurie's services many times to friends and family. My best friend and my mother both used her the following year for there own weddings. But you can notice in her work, that it speaks for itself. I will continue to suggest her if and when someone asks, and continue to use her for personal projects.
